MMA Fighter Alexander “The Great” Henandez ARPwave Training

Alexander “The Great” Hernandez is a San Antonio native MMA fighter who’s making a quick rise to stardom in the UFC. Hernandez is a proven MMA fighter with a professional record of 9-1. At a last minute notice, Hernandez replaced Bobby Green in UFC 222 and was given the opportunity to fight Beneil Dariush.  This would be Hernandez’s first UFC fight. His opponent, Dariush, is a proven veteran in the UFC with a record of 8-4-1 in addition to his MMA record of 14-4-1. Hernandez had less than 3 weeks to prepare for this fight.

Upon entering the octagon on fight night, Dariush was heavily favored to win and as any typical short notice replacement would be, Hernandez was the underdog. But Hernandez quickly surprised people by meeting Dariush with a push-kick instead of touching gloves. Then stunned the UFC world 40 seconds later by knocking Dariush out cold with a powerful left hook. His debut was so impressive that it earned him the “Performance of the Night” which came with a $50,000 bonus in addition to bragging rights. Hernandez closed the night with this remark “I think the showcase of a short-notice fight against someone who was top 10, top 15, wherever he’s at in an opening fight, and knock him out in under a minute, I think that’s an excellent statement”.

The reign of Alexander “The Great” Hernandez has officially begun in the UFC and to focus on fighting full time without any distractions, he quit it job. He is also looking to take his sports performance to the next level.
