ARPwave FIXES BACK, HIP, and KNEE PAIN

Emily is a former college volleyball player for the University of Alabama Birmingham. She competed in both indoor and beach volleyball. During her freshman year, she injured her hip flexor playing volleyball and used the training staff to manage her pain the remaining three and a half years in college.

After Emily graduated college she gained a bachelor’s degree but lost access to the team’s training staff to continue to manage her hip, back and now knee pain. She then began her search for an answer to not manage her chronic pain but end it once and for all. That is where she came across ARPwave Neuro Therapy at Neuro Sports Performance and Rehab on Yelp.

Following her initial consult, Emily was fully on board and ready to begin her path to being pain free. During the first phase, we focused on re-educating correct neuro patterns and breaking down scar tissue. As she progressed through her treatments so did the exercises. We then shifted our focus to the second phase of building strength and endurance.

With each passing ARPwave treatment, Emily began to feel less pain in her back, hip and knee. The periods of benefit lasted longer and longer. Her strength started coming back as she could walk further and further. Those prolonged periods of sitting at her desk at work no longer bothered her. And towards the end of her prescribed treatment plan, she was able to get back to running on her treadmill with little to no back, hip or knee pain!
