Gabe Reynaga is a skilled BJJ (Brazilian Jiu Jitsu) professor and competitor for the gym he manages, Ohana Academy in San Antonio. After many years of training and competing, and winning gold at the IBJJF Master Worlds Championship in Las Vegas, his professors awarded him a hard-earned and well-deserved Black Belt. Since earning his black belt Gabe has gone on to compete in four more IBJJF tournaments, bringing home the gold in all four.
In his last match Gabe suffered a serious and very painful shoulder Injury, a complete separation, in a hard fall. With a busy tournament schedule ahead of him, including the defense of his World Title, Gabe did not have time for the traditional R.I.C.E method of healing (Rest, Ice, Compression and Elevation).
