Chase Young is an American football player and defensive end for the Washington DC Commanders of the National Football League. Young was drafted in 2020 and ultimately named Defensive Rookie of the Year. Halfway through his 2021 season he sustained a season ending injury, tearing the ACL in his right knee. This injury required surgery and a proper rehabilitation process to get Young back out on the field as soon as possible. In 2023, Young made his return back to the football field against the San Fransico 49ers.
