Ray is a retired Army combat veteran who has a passion for running and being outdoors. As a retired Army veteran, he has put his body through quite a lot. Stanley entered our office with the inability to use his left leg. A few months prior to visiting our office he had full use of his left leg with little to no issues. Then one day it gave out completely from underneath him without reason. From that point on he no longer could use his left leg. He had seen multiple doctors and specialists, taking numerous x rays, MRIs and tests all without reason to as why he suddenly lost function in his left leg. Ultra-endurance runner Kenneth “Ken” competes in long distance trail runs that could take 20+ hours to complete and place in the top 3! Michelle is the mother of a very active 8 year old boy, wife to a dedicated veteran, beloved friend of many and melanoma cancer survivor. Most of her days were spent being very active. She attended all of her son’s baseball games volunteered at his school, frequently visited with her friends and even spent time in the mountains each year.  In August of 2018 she was diagnosed with reactive inflammatory arthritis and those active days quickly came to a halt.

 

Reactive arthritis is severe joint pain and swelling triggered by an infection in another part of your body. ARPwave Treatments to Game Winning Touchdowns!

Mid-season injuries can be detrimental to athletes. A serious injury can end a season in an instant. Less severe injuries can keep an athlete out for weeks to months and linger with them for the remainder of the season, taking a toll on their performance.

 

Michelle plays Ladies Tackle Football for the Austin Acoustic in the Legends League and in another league for the Texas Legacy. She’s a talented running back and wide receiver for both teams. Towards the end of Michelle’s season, she suffered a MCL sprain to her right knee and a bone bruise to her ankle. With her teams in the hunt for playoffs and ultimately the championship, she had zero time to spare. Her teams needed her back out on the field as soon as possible, due to playoffs being just around the corner.
